The United States Department of Labor has selected IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc. (IMPRES) to provide an enhanced array of Hewlett Packard, VMware, and Brocade equipment for the upgrade and migration of 270 servers within the Office of the Chief Information Officer’s, Silver Spring Data Center complex.
The $1.2M contract was awarded as a Minority-Owned 8(a) contract, which IMPRES currently holds until 2016.
IMPRES’ Engineering Team conducted compatibility testing on all elements of the solution set in preparation of the integration. The solution set encompassed HP BL 7000 blade servers, Fibre Channel interconnects, cabling, software, VMware vSphere, Brocade switches, and implementation services.
