Type of Work/Products/Services: The Dept. of Labor (DOL) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), under the direction of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), requires a Blanket Purchase Agreement to support its Information Technology business requirements. The DOL OCIO requires IT hardware – specifically Dell brand-name desktops, laptops, and peripherals – as well as related inventory management and technology refresh support. This BPA will be available for use by all DOL Agencies except for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Under this $94M single-award BPA, IMPRES provides standardized configurations of Dell brand-name laptops, desktops, and peripherals with associated inventory management and technology refresh support. DOL OCIO requires GSS-standardized configurations of Dell brand-name products, as well as inventory management support including asset management, pre-shipment imaging and tagging, on-site hardware support for issues with delivered items with accompanying next-business-day delivery of replacement items, and warranty repair and reporting. The DOL OCIO serves 22 DOL Agencies through its DOL OCIO Enterprise General Support Services program. These 22 DOL Agencies are “customers” or “customer Agencies” of the DOL OCIO. The Enterprise General Support Services Computer Network for these Agencies has approximately 20,000 Local Area Network (LAN) personal computers (PCs) connected at the national and regional offices. This includes approximately 6,000 remote access workstations. This requirements description details an estimated range of IT hardware and related inventory management and technology refresh support required for the DOL’s business needs.
