IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc. (IMPRES); an 8(a) minority-owned, Systems Integrator, based in Southern California; today announced the new hire of Jet Defensor as Director of Civilian Agencies, and will head up their East Coast Operations Office, located in the Washington, DC metro area. Jet has over of 20 years of experience in all phases of sales and strategic account planning, as well as channel and business development. Mr. Defensor achieved his success in winning major programs through strategic partnerships with vendors, integrators, end-users.

Jet’s primary responsibility will be leveraging existing relationships with manufacturers and end-users to expand IMPRES’ presence within the civilian sector of the federal government. Defensor’s experience will prove to be a valued asset in guiding IMPRES’ sales team as well.

Jet joins IMPRES from SAIC, where he served as the Director, Worldwide Channels for CloudShield Technologies, Inc. Jet’s responsibilities included recruiting and developing channel partners in the Federal, Commercial and International markets.

Prior to that, Jet was the Vice President, Networks, Security and Communications at Affigent for seven years. Defensor grew the Alaska Native 8(a) business into a multi-million concern. Jet also has an extensive background with the NASA SEWP contract and will be assisting IMPRES with securing that federal contract.

Defensor is a graduate of University of Maryland with M.S. in Technology Management and holds a B.S. in Business Systems Analysis from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Jet currently holds a Government Top Secret Clearance.
