Responsibilities
- Work with sales force in determining the appropriate Data Center solution for customers
- Provide pre-sales technical assessment, design, and development of a proposal and / or work with OEM for bill of materials for a solution
- Assist sales with customer facing meetings/calls to help gather requirements
- Guide customers on design scenarios; upgrade paths, product road maps, and industry best practices
- Stay current on industry technology trends through partner training and provide knowledge transfer to customers and team members
- Assist sales reps in creating quotes along with a clear outline of the benefits
- Deliver Technical presentations, demos, and assessments for customers
- Provides technical knowledge in design, configuration, performance optimization, maintenance, and capacity planning for an environment
- Be able to identify and examine market trends and understand client security needs
- Design solutions and configurations proposals around customer budget and environment restrictions
- Provide strategic & tactical guidance to both sales teams and customers on current and proposed technical environments
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands on experience in IT
- 4+ years’ experience in a Sr. Engineer or Consultant role
- Multiple industry-recognized certifications. i.e.: CCNP, CCIE, VCP, NCSIE, CISSP

- Ability to provide technical knowledge in design, configuration, performance optimization, maintenance, and capacity planning for an environment
- Ability to be comfortable communicating to all levels of leadership
- Ability to provide pre-sales technical assessment
- Have the ability to converse about the state of the technology security market, trends, etc.
- Ability to identify how to solve problems and complete projects with minimal guidance
- Ability to self-study and pass required certifications
