The General Services Administration has awarded IMPRES Technology Solutions, Inc., (IMPRES) with a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract with an estimated value of up to $62,465,417.00 to provide standardized, pre-configured Rugged laptop devices to federal customers via the General Services Administration AdvantageSelect™ program.
The awarded multi-agency Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract contains a base period of performance of one year, with multiple one-year options available to be exercised at the Government’s discretion. IMPRES was selected as the sole awardee under Category 3, exclusively set-aside for Dell products.
GSA AdvantageSelect establishes FAR compliant, pre-competed, short term, contractual agreements for acquiring recurring, high volume, commodity requirements enabling more competition, more often, on the most commonly purchased commodity items, and then showcasing and providing transparency of these products and pricing to the entire Government acquisition enterprise for the ultimate experience in low cost, streamlined purchasing.
Using GSA AdvantageSelect, Government buyers can order directly from the contractual agreements without having to perform any further competition, thus minimizing contracting costs, streamlining the ordering process, meeting sustainable acquisition and socio-economic goals, contributing to developing standardization across the Government, and consolidating Government buying initiatives.
