The United States Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency selected IMPRES to upgrade elements of the DHS Stennis Data Center (DC-1) facility. Using the latest in VCE vBlock architecture, IMPRES’ team deployed the initial phase of 32 Cisco UCS server blades and over 400TB of EMC/VNX storage, housed in a three-rack enclave, within the secure facility.

“This contract not only highlights IMPRES’ diverse reach into complex technology installations, but to our commitment to the DHS and the FirstSource II contract to provide the best products, the best service, at the best value”, commented Steve Ridgeway, Vice President of Federal Sales.

IMPRES continues to perform on various other task orders for CBP as well as other DHS sub-agencies.
