At IMPRES Technology Solutions, we empower federal agencies with cutting-edge Enterprise IT and IT Security solutions that keep missions moving forward. As the company continues to grow, marketing has become a strategic driver of awareness, pipeline, and brand — and we need an experienced leader to own it end to end, turning a fast-growing marketing function into a coordinated, high-output engine that supports sales, proposals, and business development across the federal market.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll lead IMPRES’s marketing team and every aspect of the function — directing our digital marketing and graphic design staff, managing external vendors and agencies, overseeing the events team, and owning the campaigns, content, and brand programs that drive growth. You’ll set priorities, hold people and projects to deadlines, and translate business development goals into marketing execution. This is a hands-on leadership role: part strategist, part project driver, part coach. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
We’re looking for someone who leads aggressively — who takes ownership of people and projects and pushes them forward without waiting to be asked. The ideal candidate may be someone who knows they’re ready for more than their current role has allowed: perhaps you’ve spent time in a larger, stovepiped organization where good ideas move slowly, and you’re craving the flexibility, autonomy, and room to prove yourself that a growing company can offer. If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to run the show and grow with the business, this is it.
Lead and develop IMPRES’s marketing team — including internal digital marketing, events, and graphic design staff — setting priorities, coaching performance, and holding people and projects accountable to deadlines and quality standards.
Manage external vendors, agencies, and contractors (creative, web, PR, media, and print), ensuring their work is on-brand, on-time, and on-budget.
Oversee the events team and IMPRES’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and customer events —synchronizing our events presence with our overall marketing strategy.
Own the marketing plan and calendar, aligning campaigns, content, and brand initiatives with sales, capture, and business development goals.
Plan, prioritize, and drive marketing projects end-to-end across digital, content, design, events, and communications, managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
Partner with sales and leadership to support proposal and capture efforts, ensuring marketing and design resources deliver polished, compliant materials for government RFP responses.
Manage both internal and external stakeholders, taking charge of the link between marketing production, the reviewers, and the final audience
Establish and maintain the processes, workflows, and brand standards that keep the team organized, consistent, and scalable as the function grows.
Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources across people, programs, and vendors.
Track and report on marketing performance, using data and metrics to guide decisions, demonstrate impact, and continuously improve.
Lead by example and stay hands-on — stepping into execution when needed to keep work moving — while serving as the connective tissue between marketing, sales, and leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years leading people, teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
Direct experience marketing in the federal reseller or federal OEM space — or equivalent federal or government-contracting marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff, vendors, and agency partners while keeping multiple projects on schedule and on budget
Proven track record planning and executing marketing campaigns and programs end-to-end across digital, content, design, and events
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle a heavy volume of concurrent projects and stakeholders (familiarity with Scrum or Agile practices is strongly preferred)
Experience supporting sales, business development, or proposal and capture efforts, ideally in a B2B, technology, or government-contracting environment
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with a bias toward action and a sense of ownership
Working knowledge of marketing tools and platforms — CRM and marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), digital analytics, and design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) — sufficient to lead and evaluate the team’s work. Direct hands-on design experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
U.S. citizenship (required)
Candidates must currently reside in a designated HUBZone or be willing to relocate to a HUBZone-eligible area (check eligibility for any address on the SBA HUBZone map)
Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday/Friday remote); based out of our Round Rock, TX headquarters
A rare opportunity to build and lead a growing marketing function — with the autonomy and room to prove yourself, rather than inherit a rigid one — alongside excellent benefits and strong career growth potential
Top-tier career development support, with plenty of opportunities for certifications, training, conference attendance, etc
Join a knowledgeable, supportive team with a wide range of specialties and industry-leading expertise
