As an ERP Administrator / Product Owner, you'll be at the heart of our business systems organization; owning the day-to-day administration and long-term roadmap of our CRM, NetSuite and their connected applications to support sales, procurement, finance, and operations. You'll bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution — configuring records, workflows, and reporting on one side, gathering requirements and prioritizing enhancements with stakeholders on the other — all within an established governance and change-management framework.
This position reports to the Development Team Product Owner in IT. This role suits someone who thrives at the intersection of hands-on system administration and stakeholder-driven product ownership, with the discipline to keep documentation, standards, and compliance controls intact across multiple systems.
What you'll do
- Own the day-to-day administration of Salesforce and NetSuite — user provisioning and access, roles, profiles and permission sets, objects, fields, page layouts, saved searches, and automation — keeping both environments stable, secure, and aligned to how the business actually operates.
- Gather requirements from sales, procurement, finance, and operations, translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements and fixes.
- Configure and extend system functionality including custom records, fields, workflows, approval routings, and transaction forms, following established naming, documentation, and change-control standards.
- Build and maintain reports, saved searches, dashboards, and KPIs that give each function visibility into pipeline, quoting, procurement, fulfillment, and financial performance.
- Manage integrations and data flow between the CRM, quoting, accounting, and procurement systems — monitoring for failures, resolving sync errors, and coordinating fixes with technical resources.
- Own release and change management: evaluate release notes, test in sandbox, coordinate UAT with business stakeholders, and deploy with documented rollback plans.
- Support compliance and audit requirements tied to federal contracting — maintaining segregation of duties, approval controls, audit trails, and accurate contract, pricing, and compliance data.
- Provide tier-2 support and end-user training, including documentation, job aids, and process guides that reduce repeat questions and improve adoption.
- Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and leadership to align the systems roadmap with business goals, and ensure all deliverables are accurate, documented, and delivered on schedule.
- Continually grow your systems expertise through platform releases, new tools, certifications, and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of hands-on ERP or CRM administration experience, preferably supporting B2B, technology, or government contracting organizations
- Demonstrated experience administering NetSuite and/or Salesforce, including user and role management, custom fields and forms, reporting, and process automation
- Proven ability to take an enhancement from request to release — gathering requirements, documenting them clearly, configuring the solution, coordinating testing with business users, and deploying it
- Strong reporting and analysis skills, including building saved searches, reports, and dashboards, and comfort working with data imports, exports, and cleanup at volume
- Experience supporting system integrations and troubleshooting data flow between connected applications
- Strong attention to detail and the discipline to maintain documentation, naming standards, and change records across multiple systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with sales, finance, procurement, and operations stakeholders
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- U.S. citizenship (required)
